A Note From Our Founder
Walking the path of Central and South American ancestral medicine and tradition for over six years has granted me invaluable insights into a way of life often overlooked in Western culture.
The wisdom of what I call the 'Ancient Path' extends beyond mere practices; it encapsulates values that the modern mind often neglects: the importance of community, the strength of faith, reverence for life, and empowerment derived from these connections. This has cultivated within me a profound sense of awe, trust, and a deeper connection not only to my own essence but also to the earth and spirit.
In today's fast-paced world, there's a palpable yearning to reconnect with the essence of existence. The invitation is clear – humanity needs to rekindle its relationship with the sacredness of life.
It is this calling that has inspired the Ancient Path Retreat - an offering created for fellow seekers ready to immerse themselves in transformative rituals, ceremonies, and ancient medicines, all while respecting and honoring the original peoples.
In its essence, this retreat is a culmination of the teachings shared by my mentors and guides along the Mesoamerican path, and a way to connect you directly to authentic medicine men and women.
Wisdom is not a possession to hoard; it's a legacy meant to be shared. It is with a humble heart that I invite you on this sacred journey that has been crafted with intentionality alongside the guidance and counsel of the elders who will be present.

The Wisdom Imparted
Honoring the powerful and millenary traditions of these ancient lands, we will be guided by the elements: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth as they help us unravel anything that is untrue within us to reveal the truth that lies beneath. You will also have the opportunity to connect to your body through breathwork and yoga each day.
A fully detailed itinerary of our time together will be provided upon registration along with a welcome packet with all travel information, preparation suggestions, packing list, and resources for pre-integration.

Shambalanté is a space immersed in the beautiful Yucatecan jungle that is dedicated to the well-being of the environment. It is designed to coexist in harmony with the exuberant nature that surrounds the space. This holistic retreat center will offer everything we need from a deep connection to nature, to three healthy meals each day, and lots of space to explore and disconnect from the outside world. It is located in the state of Yucatan, Mexico, just 1 hour away from Yucatan’s beautiful capital city, Merida. Merida is considered one of Mexico’s safest cities. We ask that all participants make a $500 deposit to secure their space for the journey. This is non-refundable due to the nature of preparations for creating this experience.

Getting To Yucatan, Mx
We understand that traveling to another country can sometimes feel like a daunting task, especially if you're coming on your own. We're here to tell you that we will be here to support you every step of the way.
Yucatan is one of the safest states in Mexico, and getting here is very easy! :)
COVID Requirements to get into Mexico
A negative COVID-19 test is NOT required for entry and neither is a vaccine.
Getting to Merida, Yucatan
Our meeting point for this retreat will be in Merida, Yucatan. This is where you'll need to fly into. We suggest you fly in at least the night before so that you can meet us on time where we will be meeting in order to head to the retreat center together. The retreat center is located about 1 hour from the Merida International Airport and just 15 minutes from the magical town of Izamal.
If you choose to arrive a day or two early and would like hotel suggestions, we will be more than happy to help you!
